Police should be out there asking questions at boat harbours. Someone must have seen some suspicious activity. Other boats in the area. Though they may only come out to check their oysters every 6 or 12 months.

Just this hour I ate some fresh rock oysters, they looked like Sydney rock oysters, at a Chinese restaurant in Chengdu.

Costly exercise lol its a $300 setup and id also suggest a hyprophone (ask a whale watcher boat) to trigger an alarm when boats get too close. Im from a multi generation oyster family from Port Stephens and i know how it feels to be robbed but no longer should farmers trust the public....the old days of honest people is well past us.

Here's a simple idea, put an airtag in a few fake oysters so if and when they're stolen again you can track it. If they're stealing a tonne they ain't checking to see how fake the oysters look
